    SIX60 was formed in Dunedin, the founding members met while attending the University of Otago. The band created their name from the street number of the house they lived at in Dunedin, 660 Castle Street.

    Brian Finn was born in Te Awamutu He went to Sacred Heart College, Auckland, a Catholic boarding school. In 1971 he started a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Auckland, New Zealand.

    Bunny Walters was born 31 May 1953, and sadly died on 14 December 2016 at the age of 63. Bunny Walters was a New Zealand singer who had a number of New Zealand hits during the 1970s.

    Dave Dobbyn

    Dave Dobbyn was born in 1957 in the working class areas of Glen Innes Auckland the third of five children to tour-bus driver Terry Dobbyn and Molly. He was influenced by music from a young age, ranging from the Irish songs his father listened to, to the music of the church across the road, to the various radio stations he was able to pick up on the family radiogram While his family had a piano at home, he was the only member to not receive piano lessons, something he was grateful for in retrospect as it meant he was able to come to it without memories of strict lessons.

    Fat Freddy's Drop

    Fat Freddy's Drop is a New Zealand seven-piece band from Wellington . Originally a jam band formed in the late 1990s by musicians from other bands in Wellington, Fat Freddy's Drop gradually became its members' sole focus. Band members continued playing with their other respective groups like The Black seeds, Trinity Roots.

    Savage

    Savage joined with friends to form a hip-hop group, the Deceptikonz, in 1997. Success was not instant, however, as the group struggled through several talent shows and small concerts. Savage was born on 28 June 1981.Savage is a New Zealand rapper of Samoa descent.

    Th' Dudes

    The band was formed by Morris, Urlich, Coleman and Dobbyn, students at Sacred Heart College in Auckland, which was the same school that Neil(Crowded House and Split Enz) and Tim Finn(Split Enz). The Band got their form "Lone Groover" comic strip in the English music paper.
